"My dad and I spent our first day on the Skagit with Brian. There weren't many fish around that year, but my dad caught a high teen buck at the last hour of our last run. Throughout the day we saw more beautiful steelhead water than either of us had imagined and, not to be forgotten, had a delicious grilled steak lunch riverside. In the end though it was a lesson in the virtue of "stick" and hard work by Brian that put us in front of that magnificent fish with the sun going down.
Brian has the perfect demeanor for a guide-- levelheaded and steadfast. Without pretense or ego, he has the ability to instruct without over-instructing. Just a very competent, hard working good guy.
A couple years later Brian introduced us to the Skykomish and it was the same deal. Brian shortened our learning curve 100 fold. And again it was my dad into the fish!"

"First off, Brian was an invaluable source of information in helping me choose a two-handed rod, and he was
tremendously helpful in setting up the various lines for my new rod. I've done a fair amount of fishing
with single-handed rods, but I'd never had my hands on a two-hander before and it all felt a bit intimidating
to say the least. However, a day on the river with Brian remedied that. He's a (very) patient casting
instructor and my time with him was well spent. His knowledge not only of casting, but presentation,
reading the water and every other aspect of steelhead fishing was impressive to say the least. If you're
looking for excellent instruction, or just a knowledgeable guide to put you on some fishy water, I can't
imagine a better guy for the job than Brian Paige. And, he's a downright enjoyable guy to fish with."

"I've fished with Brian many times and always enjoy my time out on the water with him. He has worked
with me to improve my presentation and learning how to read steelhead water. Brian spends a lot of time fishing, when
he's not guiding and has very detailed knowledge of the Skykomish and other local areas. He is a pleasure to fish
with and learn from. Thanks for some great trips!"
